On 14th February 2014, CWIN's Helpline got a call from a teacher who complained that her student was brutally beaten by her aunt and that the girl had bruises and blue mark near her eyes. After hearing the complaint and with the help of the victim's principle, the CWIN counselor decided to meet the victim and further inquire about the victim's situation. Saathi in collaboration with Nepal police and Indian Police rescued 5 Nepali girls who were supposed to be sold at Rs 2,000 each, at Anandnagar railway station of India and a man Dula Ram Chaudhari for his alleged involvement in the incident has been arrested.
